On the first weekend of July, thousands of people from across the world gathered in Berlin for a mass celebration of intercultural understanding and peace. The World Culture Festival encompassed concerts, dance performances and yoga demonstrations.<br /><br />It was held to mark the 30th anniversary of the Art of Living Foundation. The organization helps traumatized individuals and claims to reach several hundred thousand people all over the planet. According to a Forbes survey its founder, Indian guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, is one of the five most influential people from India. The money for the charitable projects is raised from manager training, yoga and meditation courses. The Art of Living Foundation is active in around 150 countries.
